Come one and all for an exciting evening of culinary, cultural and choral delights all “MADE IN THE USA”. Monday, June 2, 2008.

Arts Camden delights in presenting an up-lifting evening filled with “Good people, food and music” beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Arts Camden Cultural Center next door to the St. Marys Antiques Mall. The event will be a truly wonderful celebration of Americana featuring our own multi-faceted local talent.

The evening will kick-off at 6:00 p.m. with delicious Hor d’ourves as you mingle through the amazing array in a myriad of artistic mediums. The artists are all local, well-known individuals with names you will certainly recognize.   Artists include Charlie Smith, Blair Strain, Elizabeth Gray, Scott Hornbaker, Dr. Vantuil Varges and Nicole Rosseland with creations uniquely displayed to bring out their individualized beauty.

The featured event of the evening will begin at precisely 6:30 with a repertoire of melodies performed by our own Cumberland Sound. The harmonic choral review was arranged by Mac Huff and reflects the talents of many American composers. The vocal renditions will leave the audience glowing with patriotic pride as director Joann Wagner leads Cumberland Sound in a most delightful performance highlighting well known “Made in the USA” songs, making it difficult for the audience not to be totally absorbed in the spirited choral experience.

To top off the evening a serving of delectable desserts, an opportunity to meet and greet all the artists displayed and be proudly introduced to Arts Camden’s 2008 scholarship recipients. Take the opportunity to perhaps purchase a piece of the fine art displayed and congratulate the youth who represent the future cultural leaders in our community recognized by Arts Camden to further their aspirations through unique artistic expressions.

Tickets are $15.00 available in advance at the St. Marys Antiques Mall or at the door the night of the event.
