The Jacksonville Sharks are pleased to announce their First Annual Military Appreciation Night presented by Navy Federal Credit Union. To help honor the military, all active and veteran military personnel will be offered a buy one, get one free ticket promotion as the Sharks take on the Dallas Vigilantes on Sea Best Field at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. Attack Dance Team Swimsuit Calendar
The Jacksonville Sharks announce the 2010-2011 Attack Dance Team swimsuit calendar will be released on Friday, May 14th.  The calendars will be available for purchase during the home game against the Dallas Vigilantes.

The calendar begins in June and features the beautiful girls of the Sharks Attack Dance Team.  Each month will feature one dance team member in a stunning swimsuit provided by Aqua East Surf Shop.

The calendars are available for $10 each at the Sharks merchandise stands.  The calendars will be available for purchase beginning at 5:30 pm at Sea Best Field during SharkFest, the pregame party before each and every Sharks home game. Fans can get their calendars signed by the Attack Dance Team after the game on the field during the traditional autograph session.

Please join riders on Saturday  October 10, 2009 at 10am. They will meet at Camden Bicycle Center and be part of the largest Bike Ride in the United States and Canada on behalf of Breast Cancer Research.  The ride is casual, 25 and 10 mile routes will be available. The 10 mile route will explore downtown St Marys GA. and 25 mile route will head toward the Crooked River State Park and back.   Invite a friend to come with you. Don’t forget your helmet!

The fun runs launch the festival in the early morning on July 4. Pre-registration is encouraged for the running events to make check-in smoother. Awards will be given in all categories.

Up The Creek is having its canoe and kayak demo April 11 from 10:00am until 3:00 pm.  The demo will be held 201 Kings Bay Road, Kingsland, on the lake across from Wal-Mart.

Come out to test paddle the area’s best selection of quality kayaks.  Staff will again be on hand to answer questions.  Mark the date now!  If there is a specific kayak or canoe you would like to test, call us at (912) 882-0911.

Also this year, Up The Creek will be teaming up with the North Florida Paddlers Group, who will be helping to man the grills.  Come on out and enjoy a hot dog or hamburger while you test out the kayaks.

Everyone is invited to enter in the Wildcat Parade of Pride, participation is free and we are looking for who has the most WILDCAT SPIRIT!? There will be spirit contests and fun for all! The parade line up will start at 9:00am on HWY 17 and the parade activities will begin promptly at 10:00am. We are planning spirit contests for the parade entries that have the most Wildcat pride. American football in Tel-Aviv, IsraelThe Wildcats will travel to Newnan for the Semi-Finals on Friday, December 5, 2008. Kick-off is at 7:30 PM.

Advanced tickets are on sale in the Athletic Office at Camden County High School for $12.00 each.

We have two Charter Fan Busses going to Newnan. The cost is $62.00 per person. This fee includes your ticket to the game. The bus will depart promptly at 11:30am near the Athletic Offices.

The beginningThere are plans for an early 2009 bicycle tour that will advance trails in both Georgia and northeast Florida. For five days starting January 14, 25 coastal Georgians will ride the invitational Savannah-Northeast Florida Workshop on Wheels that begins in St. Marys, Georgia, and continues along off-road trails, bicycle lanes, backroads and ferries through Florida’s Amelia Island, Jacksonville, Clay and St. Johns counties.
“The tour will greatly advance regional ecotourism,” says Visit Jacksonville President John G. Reyes.
