My boyfriend and met here in Kingsland about 5 years ago. We became pretty good friends and after 3 years of friendship we started dating and have been for 2 years now! Initially I came here with my ex-husband. After a long heart aching road my new found best friend became my boyfriend and is THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!!! I have never felt such a connection in my life and I have never had some one so close to me. This proves that love can be found in even the smallest of towns.

The town of St Marys holds a special meaning to me. I met my late husband back in 1996 while he served on the USS Tennessee. I lived in Jacksonville, FL at the time We dated for about a year and then decided to get married by the Justice of the Peace on Jan 13, 1997 in a small white Church on the right handside near Orange Hall. Everytime I drive by it It brings so many memories. Beginning of a great life until tragedy struck and I lost him. That Church will always hold a great place in my heart.

My husband Vincent, who is stationed here on the USS Rhode Island Gold and i met September 1, 2009 after a long internet relationship. Friendly of course =) He decided that he wanted to meet me in person so he had asked me to come down and stay with some mutual friends of ours. Of course when the opportunity to fly from my hometown of Saginaw, Michigan to Kingsland, Georgia was a bit nerve recking but something in me told me to take a leap and fly a thousand miles to meet this person who I had such a connection with. My family told me it was crazy and to not do it but I knew this person I had started a friendship with was worth the leap of faith. The moment I met him I felt something special. It sounds crazy to most but 17 days after meeting we decided we were meant for each other. We married on November 3, 2011. Today is our anniversary! Two years strong. We now have a beautiful and perfect daughter Sophia Grace who will be five months on November 9, 2011. She is the light of our lives and its amazing that God allowed us to find each other. I believe he brought us together and I am so thankful I took the leap of faith. Its been two years and we have so much love between the three of us that sometimes it feels as if this was all a dream. I believe our story is one in a billion and I am thankful that I was the one who was chosen to live it.
